Signs it's time for slab leak repair.
Most East Valley homes have no basement, so supply lines run in or under the slab. When copper carrying hard water gives out, it fails at the weakest point, and that point is under your floor. The water goes into the soil and up into the slab instead of somewhere you'd notice.

A leak in a water line running under the concrete slab your house is built on. Most homes here have no crawlspace, so the supply and drain lines sit in or under that concrete, and a failure there shows up as a warm floor or a high bill instead of a puddle.
