Plumbing in Tempe

What we see in Tempe homes, and how we work here.

Tempe is our second home base. Yellowstone Plumbing & Drains has an office at 2125 E 5th St Suite 111, Tempe, AZ 85288, and the crews that work Tempe, south Scottsdale, west Mesa and east Phoenix start their day there instead of driving up from Chandler. For a Tempe homeowner that means a shorter wait on an emergency and a plumber who already knows the neighborhood.

A lot of Tempe housing is older and a lot of it is rented, which shapes the calls: recurring drain clogs in cast iron lines, sewer lines that have never been cameraed, water heaters that have been ignored for a decade, pinholing copper, and landlords who want one company to handle a whole property from the tenant's call to the owner's invoice.

We work with homeowners, landlords and property managers in Tempe the same way: look at the problem, write the price, do the work, send photos. Sewer camera inspections are free on homes 25 years or older, which covers a lot of Tempe. Repipes, slab leak detection, water heater and tankless replacements, softeners and everyday fixture work round out the list.

Why homeowners pick us

Why Tempe homeowners call Yellowstone.

  • 01An office in Tempe at 2125 E 5th St Suite 111, Tempe, AZ 85288, so the truck is starting nearby instead of crossing the Valley.
  • 02One company for a whole rental property: tenant call, owner approval by phone, photos of the work, one invoice.
  • 03Camera before cable on any recurring drain, and a free sewer camera inspection on homes 25 years or older (real estate inspections excluded).
  • 04Licensed and bonded under AZ ROC #356064, family-owned, 177 Google reviews at 5.0.

I own an older home, with older home problems. Matt came over and diagnosed the most important issues, without any upsale or pressure. He took the time to discuss things with no rush and then gave me an estimate that was a really fair! Mike came to do the work and he was awesome! He was super friendly and efficient and we are very impressed with the work and service as a whole. Yellowstone is definitely our new plumbing service and would highly recommend!!

We had an amazing experience with Yellowstone Plumbing & Drains on our outdoor kitchen project! From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, fast, reliable, and easy to work with. They made sure everything was done correctly, communicated clearly throughout the process, and paid close attention to every detail. Our outdoor kitchen turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work.

Friendly, quick, and knowledgeable! I've used Yellowstone multiple times and I won't go to any other plumber.

Your local Tempe plumbing team

When something goes wrong, you reach the team doing the work.

Yellowstone Plumbing & Drains is a family-owned company based in Chandler serving Tempe and the East Valley. You approve a written price before work starts.

Where can I find an emergency plumber in Tempe?

Call (480) 404-5226 24 hours a day. Tempe emergencies dispatch from our Tempe office, with Chandler as backup. A main line backing sewage into a tub, a burst pipe, a water heater on the garage floor, or no water at all is treated as urgent, and a tenant can make the call as long as the owner can approve the price by phone.

Close the main valve at the meter box by the sidewalk or on the wall by the front hose bib, and stop running water inside if a drain is coming up. For a water heater leak, close the cold valve on top of the tank and cut its gas or breaker. If it can safely wait until morning, we say so on the phone.

Arizona's monsoon runs June 15 to September 30, per the National Weather Service. Tempe's older sewer lines take on debris and back up in bursts during storms; if yours has done it before, call before the storm, not after.

Tempe plumbing questions, answered.

Where is your Tempe office?

2125 E 5th St Suite 111, Tempe, AZ 85288. It is the second Yellowstone location alongside the Chandler headquarters, and the crews serving Tempe, south Scottsdale, west Mesa and east Phoenix work out of it. Walk-ins are not the point of it; call or text (480) 404-5226 and a truck comes to you.

How fast can you get to a Tempe address?

With trucks starting in Tempe, most Tempe calls get one of the shortest arrival windows we offer. Call (480) 404-5226 and the dispatcher gives you a real window based on where the nearest truck is, not a four-hour block.

Do you work with Tempe landlords and property managers?

Yes. We take the call from the tenant, coordinate access, write the price, get the owner's approval by phone, do the work, and send photos with the invoice. One point of contact for the whole property.

Is the sewer camera inspection really free in Tempe?

On homes 25 years or older, yes, as long as it is not for a real estate transaction. You watch the footage with us, and if the line is fine we say so.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Yes. Arizona ROC #356064, licensed and bonded, family-owned, 177 Google reviews at 5.0.
