Plumbing in Scottsdale

How we cover Scottsdale from Chandler.

Slab leaks and leak detection are the Scottsdale calls we take most. Established homes on slab foundations with decades-old copper are where a quiet leak under the floor does the most damage, and finding it without opening the whole floor is the job.

We handle the rest of Scottsdale's plumbing too: water heaters and tankless units, drain and sewer work with a camera first, softeners, and repipes when the copper has had enough. South Scottsdale is served from our Tempe office at 2125 E 5th St Suite 111, Tempe, AZ 85288, so the drive is short; north Scottsdale is longer and we say so.

Because a Scottsdale call is often a leak nobody can see, we bring the detection gear on the first visit rather than scheduling a second one. Pressure test first, then acoustic and electronic location, then a written repair price. Most Scottsdale slab leaks are resolved with a spot repair or a reroute, not a repipe.

Why homeowners pick us

Why Scottsdale homeowners call Yellowstone.

  • 01Leak detection on the first visit. The equipment rides on the truck, so a Scottsdale slab leak is located the day we arrive.
  • 02Repair, reroute or repipe, explained plainly with a written price for each path before you choose.
  • 03Careful with finishes. We open the smallest area of floor or wall the repair allows and we say what patching is included.
  • 04Licensed and bonded under AZ ROC #356064, family-owned, 177 Google reviews at 5.0.

I own an older home, with older home problems. Matt came over and diagnosed the most important issues, without any upsale or pressure. He took the time to discuss things with no rush and then gave me an estimate that was a really fair! Mike came to do the work and he was awesome! He was super friendly and efficient and we are very impressed with the work and service as a whole. Yellowstone is definitely our new plumbing service and would highly recommend!!

Where can I find an emergency plumber in Scottsdale?

Call (480) 404-5226 at any hour. A truck comes from Chandler; south Scottsdale is the quicker run. A supply line spraying inside a wall, a slab leak you can hear, a failed water heater or a sewer backup is treated as urgent.

Shut the main valve at the meter or by the front hose bib and, if the leak is hot water, close the cold valve on top of the water heater. If the floor is warm and you hear water with everything off, keep the main closed until we arrive; a slab leak keeps running otherwise.

Monsoon dates per the National Weather Service. Emergency details: emergency plumbing. Burst pipe? What to do right now.

Good to know

Scottsdale plumbing questions, answered.

Do you do slab leak detection in Scottsdale?

Yes, and it is the most common reason Scottsdale homeowners call. Electronic and acoustic detection pinpoints the leak so we open one spot in the floor, not five. There is a dedicated Scottsdale slab leak page linked on this page.

How far is Scottsdale from your shop?

South Scottsdale is a short run from our Tempe office; north Scottsdale is a longer drive and we say so. Call (480) 404-5226 and we give you a real window for your address.

Will you tell me if it is a repair or a repipe?

Yes, straight. One failed spot gets a spot repair or a reroute. A pattern of pinholes in old copper gets a repipe conversation, with the price in writing either way.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Yes. AZ ROC #356064. We are a family-owned company based in Chandler with 177 Google reviews at 5.0.
